Leah Elizabeth Evans is the Founder and Director of The Armory Comedy, a nonprofit comedy theater based at The Tank in Manhattan. In addition to her leadership role, she is a member of the ensemble committee for both sketch and improv, and regularly performs in her brainchild, Shot4Shot.

Originally from Upstate New York, Leah juggles her life as an improv coach and performer by night and a role as a corporate CEO assistant by day - to varying degrees of success. With a touring background in both performing and teaching improv, she has also appeared in numerous theater, film, and television projects and has worn many creative hats throughout her career, including actor, writer, producer, and more.

During the pandemic, Leah began writing sequels, original films, and jukebox musicals in 24 hours or less. These works have since been performed across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and online. Her first short film, For Hire, was one of these projects and garnered recognition and honors at numerous film festivals, including Soho, Atlanta Underground, Oregon Film Festival, and more.

As a child, Leah saw Austin Powers: Goldmember eight times in theaters - whether that’s a badge of honor or a cry for help is up for debate.
